Description:
Tavern Nono, owned by the Prodan family, is located in Petrovija, not far from Umag. The place is ideal for a trip and lunch with families since there is a mini farm on the property that can be seen. The tavern is interestingly decorated, decorated with musical instruments, hats and old photographs, a beautiful terrace surrounded by greenery. Here you can enjoy traditional Istrian cuisine in a pleasant ambience, and some dishes are available regardless of the season.
We offer boškarin dishes, homemade pasta, various stews, dishes with truffles, fish specialties. The platter of local cheeses and salamis was nicely served and delicious. Be sure not to miss the goat roasted under čripnja, Istrian peka, if you will have it on offer. A top specialty that you will surely enjoy.
The truffle steak was juicy, soft and delicious! We rounded off the meal with a cheese and fig cake. The wine list is solid and varied, and mostly consists of wines from Istrian producers. The prices are reasonable, the service is very kind. A tavern with a reputation that they successfully maintain.
