Pervino Winery

Winemaking has been a part of our family for generations. Back in 1914, our great-grandfather realized the importance of vineyards and insured them, and we still proudly keep his insurance policy today.
However, the serious wine story began in 2002 when Željko, after working in other companies, founded Vino P&P. He was always supported by his wife Nevi, who made sure that good wine was always accompanied by good logistics. The new generation also contributes to wine: sisters Marina and Željko, professors and scientists who each help in their own way.
However, the young driving force is Paval, who enters the family out of love, and along the way he becomes infected with winemaking, so he exchanged his degree in civil engineering for that of an oenologist.
Today we enjoy developing new ideas, expanding the product range and improving production. We will continue our family story for generations to come and how could it not when winemaking is written in our genetic code. Our philosophy
As is the case in Istria, behind the brand lies a family story gathered in the Vino P&P trade. However, unlike other wineries, we opted for direct access so that we sell our wines primarily in our premises. In this way, we wanted to ensure that every customer, in addition to tasting our wines, has the opportunity to hear the story behind that wine first hand.
Our vineyards
Novigrad is the heart of our business, and our 15 hectares of vineyards are located in various positions. We try to turn their story into wine, to tell the story of the soil, climate and tradition in every sip, but also to provide true pleasure.
The Istrian terroir is recognizable by four types of soil, four countries, which can be found at such a short distance. Novigrad and our vineyards are located on Crvenica, which due to its ability to store precious water during the dry summer months is ideal for growing vines and olives, just a few steps from the sea, which with its “breath” also enriches our wines.
The recognizable minerality of our wines is the result of the combination of deep redness and proximity to the sea. Wine parallel
Our EXCLUSIVE wine line, aged Malvasia Gold 45 and aged cuvée Red 45 come from the vineyards located on the 45th northern parallel of exactly 45 rows located on a slope by the sea and illuminated by the sun. This so-called wine parallel that passes through Istria makes our area great for growing vines. Thanks to her, Novigrad has the honor of enjoying all four seasons. Winter pruning is followed by spring budding, followed by summer fruit formation and ripening until the autumn harvest. Perhaps in number 45 lies the secret of the Gold 45 and Red 45 wines, which emphasize this heavenly wine origin in the best possible way and represent the pearl of PERVINO brand production.
